This bed is designed as a box spring and mattress bed but is also available as a storage platform bed. This is shown in a glazed finish which is a catalyzed lacquer. However, this bed is also available in Cherry, Ash, Maple and walnut. This bed has 5 standard hardwood slats to support the mattress and box spring and the queen, king and cal king beds all come standard with a center support.
